The Ecological Breeding Base — Dairy Cow Breeding Manure Resource Utilization Project focuses on the efficient treatment and comprehensive reuse of manure generated from large-scale dairy farming. By integrating advanced pretreatment, anaerobic digestion, biogas utilization, and organic fertilizer production technologies, the project converts livestock waste into clean energy and high-quality fertilizers. This closed-loop system not only reduces environmental pollution, but also improves resource efficiency, supports sustainable agriculture, and promotes green, low-carbon development of modern dairy farming.
As a prime milk-producing region and one of China’s major livestock counties, the number of dairy cattle has continued to grow. Along with this growth, however, the pressure of manure management has become increasingly prominent. To protect the Yellow River ecosystem and promote sustainable agricultural development, this resource utilization project came into being.
The project adopts a core process system combining pretreatment and anaerobic digestion, followed by fermentation and aerobic composting. It establishes a complete industrial chain encompassing manure collection and transportation, pretreatment, anaerobic digestion, biogas purification, biogas slurry treatment, advanced wastewater treatment, and organic fertilizer production. An intelligent management system ensures efficient manure collection and transportation.
