Project Delivery | 500 m³ Double Membrane Gas Holder Commissioned at a Shanghai Distillery

The membrane gas holder works for the 500 m³ Biogas Storage and Peak Regulation Project at a Shanghai Distillery, undertaken by Qingdao Haiyue  have recently been completed. Following installation and commissioning, the system has officially entered operation.

Project Overview

• Capacity: One 500 m³ double membrane gas holder

• Application: Collection of biogas from anaerobic treatment, constant-pressure storage and peak regulation, supporting downstream boiler operation or power generation

• Scope: Membrane structure design, membrane fabrication, foundation construction, membrane erection and tensioning, pressure regulation system, safety interlocks, and integrated commissioning

• Supplier: Qingdao Haiyue 

  

Key Milestones

1. Foundation acceptance and bottom membrane installation

2. Inner and outer membrane erection and tensioning, successfully completed on the first attempt

3. Airtightness and pressure tests, passed on the first attempt

4. Integrated commissioning of the blowers, control cabinet, and flare system

5. Final handover
