Successful Installation of a 100 m³ Double-Membrane Gas Holder for a Paper Mill Wastewater Treatment Project
Recently, the installation of a 100 m³ double-membrane gas holder for a paper mill wastewater treatment project was successfully completed. The gas holder is designed to collect and store biogas generated during the anaerobic treatment of papermaking wastewater, providing a stable and reliable gas supply for subsequent biogas utilization equipment.
Featuring a flexible double-membrane structure, the gas holder provides stable gas storage, constant-pressure output, excellent airtightness, strong corrosion resistance, and reliable safety performance. Its inner membrane stores the biogas, while the outer membrane protects the system and helps maintain a stable operating pressure. This design effectively balances fluctuations between biogas production and consumption, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the entire biogas system.

Once commissioned, the gas holder will significantly improve the collection, storage, and utilization efficiency of biogas produced from papermaking wastewater. It will also help the paper mill reduce fossil-fuel consumption and operating costs while promoting wastewater resource recovery, renewable-energy utilization, and greener, low-carbon production. This successful installation demonstrates the practical value of double-membrane gas holders in the wastewater treatment and renewable-energy applications of the paper industry.
