Installation Completed for Two Double Membrane Gas Holders

Recently, two 300 m³ double membrane gas holders were successfully lifted into position at a paper mill in Xiaogan, Hubei Province, China. Associated piping, pressure-stabilizing blowers, and other equipment were also installed.

Standing firmly on concrete platforms, the two ivory-white spherical gas holders add a striking feature to the mill grounds. With excellent gas tightness, constant-pressure gas storage, corrosion resistance, and maintenance-free operation, double membrane gas holders are ideal storage solutions for biogas projects.

Biogas produced during the anaerobic treatment of papermaking wastewater is collected and stored in the gas holders. After desulfurization and purification, it can be used as supplementary fuel for boilers or for power generation, turning waste into a valuable energy resource and helping the company reduce energy consumption and advance green development.
